HRP-Conjugated Streptavidin consists of streptavidin protein, that is covalently conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP) enzyme.
HRP Streptavidin is a well-established detection tool for ELISA, chemiluminescence detection, and western blot analysis as well as immunohistochemistry and immunocytochemistry. Using biotinylated primary or secondary intermediates and peroxidase-labeled streptavidin, antigens can be localized in histological sections, cytospin preparations, or smears. In addition, sensitive detection systems for a variety of solid-phase assays utilizing microtitration plates or nitrocellulose have been developed using this conjugate.
