氨水又称阿摩尼亚水，主要成分为NH3•H2O，是氨气的水溶液，无色透明且具有刺激性气味。氨气熔点-77℃，沸点36℃，密度0.91g/cm^3。氨气易溶于水、乙醇。易挥发，具有部分碱的通性，氨水由氨气通入水中制得。氨气有毒，对眼、鼻、皮肤有刺激性和腐蚀性，能使人窒息，空气中高容许浓度30mg/m^3，主要用作化肥。

工业氨水是含氨25%～28%的水溶液，氨水中一小部分氨分子与水反应形成铵离子和氢氧根离子，即一水合铵，是仅存在于氨水中的弱碱。氨水凝固点与氨水浓度有关，常用的(wt)20%浓度凝固点约为35℃。与酸中和反应产生热。有燃烧爆炸危险。比热容为4.3×10^3J/kg•℃﹙10%的氨水）。

Ammonia water, also known as Amonia water, is mainly composed of NH3•H2O. It is an aqueous solution of ammonia gas, which is colorless, transparent and has a pungent odor. The melting point of ammonia gas is -77°C, the boiling point is 36°C, and the density is 0.91g/cm^3. Ammonia is easily soluble in water and ethanol.
