BURKERT电磁阀用于固体物料的控制，往往是在罐底做为放料阀来用的，如水泥罐、石粉罐等的罐底，用来放料与快速切断。因为粉尘物料大多含有或大或小的颗粒，对阀门密封面的磨损是毋庸置疑的，选型不当，会大大降低阀门的使用寿命，或很快造成阀门内漏，影响继续使用。我厂生产的沟槽蝶阀是采用国外技术及本公司多次改进设计。以碳钢为主要材质，阀体采用厚壁无缝管焊接而成，阀板为球墨铸铁，质量可靠，比铸铁更为坚固耐用，外观更加美观，而且价格更优，又具备与管件连接所希求的快捷性。可广泛应用于给排水、消防、石油、钢铁等管路上作为截断或调节之用。

BURKERT电磁阀如重要的分支、热力站的接人口，DN250以下，常采用进口球阀。它与国产球阀的结构不同：国产球阀的阀体一般是二块式、三块式，法兰连接；而进口球阀的阀体是一体式，焊接连接，故障点要少。它的原产地是北欧如芬兰、丹麦等供热技术比较发达的。如芬兰的NAVAL,VEXVE，丹麦的DAFOSS等。由于其佳的密封性，操作的可靠性，长期以来颇受用户的青睐。球阀无方向性，可以任意角度安装。焊接球阀水平安装时，阀门必须打开，避免焊接时的电火花伤及球体表面；当在垂直管道上安装时，如果焊接上接口，阀门必须打开，如果焊接下接口，阀门必须关闭，以免阀门内部被高热灼伤。
BURKERT电磁阀在供热系统中，目前是使用广泛，种类也多的一种阀门。
工作原理：阀瓣是一个圆盘，通过阀杆旋转，阀瓣在阀座范围内作90℃转动，实现阀门的开关。它在管路中起关断作用。
亦可调节流量。
BURKERT电磁阀优点：结构简单，体积轻巧，操作方便，密封性好。
BURKERT电磁阀缺点：全开时，阀板(密封圈)受介质冲蚀。
在供热工程中，用到的蝶阀有三偏心金属密封蝶阀，橡胶软密封蝶阀。
BURKERT电磁阀在阀门内相对位置的偏移。普通的蝶阀都是一个偏心，即阀轴中心线与密封面中心线(阀板中心线)偏离；高性能的再加一个偏心，即阀轴中心线与阀门中心线(管道中心线)偏离；双偏心的目的在于使阀板开至20°之后，密封副之间相互脱离，从而减少摩擦(凸轮效应)。三偏心蝶阀在上述双偏心的基础上再增加一个独特的偏心-斜锥，即阀板的偏移(密封面与管道垂直面倾斜一个角度)。这样使得阀门在90°行程范围内，密封副之间完全脱离，既加强了凸轮效应，又完全消除了摩擦；同时关闭阀门时，当密封副逐渐闭合，产生"楔块效应"，以zui小的扭矩实现严密的关断。
