介绍

DNP-BSA consists of 2,4-Dinitrophenyl hapten conjugated to bovine serum albumin (BSA, sc-2323) protein via amide bonds to lysine.

Absorption Maximum (Lambda Max): 360 nm

Extinction Coefficient at Lambda max: 17400/M/cm

用法

Conjugation for DNP is determined by measuring the absorbance at 360 nm and using the extinction coefficient of DNP =1.74 x 10E+04. The conjugation ratio is given as the molar ratio of DNP to BSA assuming the molecular weight of BSA is 60,000.

Store solution in aliquots at -20°C. Protect from light.

This product can be dissolved in water or phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.2 at a concentration of 1 mg/mL. Product may precipitate when stored in solution, therefore it is recommended to centrifuge the solutions briefly before use and use only the supernatant.
