Flame ionization detector (FID)

Because of its excellent detection ability for hydrocarbons, flame ionization detection is the most commonly used gas chromatography detection method. The sample is ionized by hydrogen air flame through carrier gas, and then collected by polarization voltage. The amount of sample burned is quantitatively analyzed by measuring the current generated.



Haohan Chromatography provides a complete set of spare parts required for the operation of FID chromatography. These include igniter spark plugs, collector nuts, cleaning and maintenance kits, and our newly designed one-piece FID nozzles. These innovative nozzles are designed to improve ease of installation, avoid damage to threads and studs, and improve FID analysis overall.



The tail of the new FID nozzle is shorter and the inner diameter is wider, which is more convenient for chromatographic column installation

Etching rings on the nozzle head help to easily identify the bore size of each nozzle
