Haohan Chromatography (Shandong) Application Technology Development Co., Ltd. established a gas chromatography (GC) method for the determination of isoflurane content in isoflurane intravenous emulsion. Method: Capillary column (0.32mm × 30m), the liquid film thickness is 0.50 μ m. FID detector with chloroform as internal standard and nitrogen flow rate of 30mL · min-1 for detection. Results: In the range of 0.2211 ～ 4.7949 g · L-1, the linear relationship was good (r=0.9996, n=7), the recovery was 100.64%, RSD was 2.21% (n=5). Conclusion: The method is simple, accurate, sensitive and can be used for the determination of isoflurane in intravenous emulsion.
