Long life seal*

Typically provides ten fold increase in seal life, further reducing routine maintenance. Sealing the rotor cavity from the test material is often a problem. The normal 'O'-ring around the rotor shaft wears and allows material to enter the bearing housing mechanism. This necessitates cleaning and 'O'-ring replacement on a routine basis to maintain accurate test results.

Alpha Technologies has developed a unique long life seal. This composite seal typically has a working life of ten times that of the standard 'O'-ring seal, dramatically extending the period between seal replacement and cleaning. Accurate, precise test results are ensured with a tenfold reduction in maintenance time.
